1. How often should I replace my filter?

Your filter should be replaced every 30 to 90 days depending on the type of filter you use and the conditions in your home.

  • At a minimum, a light grade pleated filter should be used. Be carful not to use too thick of a filter.

  • Rock Heating recommends the very best in air filtration, an American Standard Accuclean which is 100 times more effective than a 1” filter.

3. What should I set my thermostat at?

  • Your thermostat is there for your comfort.
  • Set your thermostat where you are most comfortable.
  • Be mindful that setting it too high will raise your utility bill.
  • Always use a set back digital thermostat so you can set the temperature down at night and when you aren’t home.
