I woke up this morning quite cold. The upstairs furnace went out overnight. It was 8 degrees outside… all in all, not the most fun morning. I did some troubleshooting in the attic on my own and narrowed it down to what I thought was wrong, but it was beyond my capabilities. I called Rock and they were absolutely wonderful over the phone and got me on the schedule for the same day (today is a Saturday). Steven arrived on time, was professional in appearance, and listened to all of my troubleshooting to get an idea of what was wrong. I would like to add that, as a woman, very often they don’t want to hear what I have to say, but I didn’t catch even a whiff of misogyny from him, which was honestly super refreshing. After he went up himself, he told me I was correct: the problem was the igniter. He had to go to Denver and get the part but did so in a reasonable amount of time, came back, installed the new igniter, and then tested the rest of the system to make sure it was working properly. He tested the air vents, too. Super thorough. I’ve had less than great experiences with multiple other HVAC companies in the area over the years, and this company was by far the best from the CSR to the tech, Steven. I thought the pricing was fair and reasonable for an emergency call on a Saturday during a cold snap as well. I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

Rock Clearly Takes the Customer Experience Seriously Jan 10, 2026

Revising my review up after speaking with Rock’s general manager, who took immediate action to rectify the situation. Rock clearly takes the customer experience seriously and they stand behind their work! What I wrote previously: It’s a racket. Or at least the monthly membership is. They essentially charge $40 a month for someone to come once a year, find problems in your system, and then overcharge for the work. I had an in-warranty repair completed today. Had an estimate for two people to take a full day (8 hours) to replace cracked heat exchangers in two furnaces. Estimate was $4,753 for the labor to do the work. The actual work took less than 6 hours and less than two full-time equivalents, but they still charged me the full, estimated amount of $4,753. They might argue that my membership was already delivering a 15% discount off their full rates, but do they really expect me to believe those rates aren’t already marked up? And regardless, that’s the benefit I paid for with the membership and has nothing to do with gouging me on the labor cost for this repair. I’m canceling my membership and will never do business with them again.

The Rock Heating and Air Conditioning company sent Todd to our home to repair our furnace. He was on time, friendly, and professional. He found one major issue that was left unaddressed by the previous repair person, explained how it was impacting our furnace operations, and addressed it. My husband ran construction on single and multi-family homes for over 30 years, and said that Todd was one of the most efficient and courteous heating technicians he had worked with. We will be using The Rock and specifically asking for Todd for our yearly heating and air conditioning checkups and any needed repairs going forward. Thank you, Todd!

My heat went out on the first cold day. I looked up on the internet to find a reputable company and saw all the great reviews for Rock Plumbing. I called Rock Plumbing and they were very professional and got someone out the same day. The technician Dominic was great. He even left to go and get the part and came back to finish the repair. I'm actually blown away. Customer service and professionalism is super hard to come by these days but Rock Plumbing killed it. We had our heat go out the day before the first snow of the year. Rock was able to get someone out the same day. To no fault of the technician (new pressure switch was faulty), the heat was not able to be fixed that same day. Our tech Declan went above and beyond, and came back first thing the next day with a working switch and got the heat running again. Would definitely recommend this company, and Declan, to anyone!
