Rock Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical began with a simple belief: we could serve families better.

Our story starts with our founders, Chris and Aimee Shonrock. Aimee married Chris when she was 18, and shortly after, Chris went into the Air Force. During his time in the Air Force, he started his HVAC career and discovered a real passion for the trade and for serving people. When Chris and Aimee moved back home to Colorado, he worked for other companies but felt that something was missing and that he could do things in a way that aligned more closely with their values.

Chris began working hard on the side, building a customer base and a reputation for reliable, straightforward service. Together, Chris and Aimee made a decision: they would not open the business until they knew they could at least pay their mortgage and take care of their two young children. With Aimee behind him 100%, they took that step in 2001, and Rock Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical was born.

Since then, what started as a small family operation has grown into a trusted home services company serving Castle Rock, CO, and surrounding communities. As Chris often says, it is surprising how fast it has all come. Looking back, it does not feel like it was that long ago, but a lot of time has passed, and many businesses do not make it past the first one to five years. For Chris and Aimee, leading a team that has grown, changed, and improved over more than 25 years is meaningful and rewarding.
